Bobby Rimando is a professional musician; to this day he plays drums in his band "The Trip" which performs in Las Vegas and the surrounding areas. The band plays an average of 2 weekends a month and has been doing so since 1990.
"Music is a big part of my life," says Bobby, "it's another thing that moves me and I can't imagine life without it. I've been blessed to be able to play music and performing in front of a live audience is a high of its own."
Despite his disability you cannot tell that the drummer has no use of his legs. He does not like telling people he is a drummer, as he can see the disbelief in their faces. The disbelief gets even greater when he mentions the fact that he is also a practitioner of the martial arts.
"Some people are narrow-minded," he says, "but that's quite alright; we all need to be reminded from time to time that people set limitations and limitations only exist if you limit yourself. People can be taught if they are willing."
Bobby past projects were Diamond Head, Strut, Messenger, Crimson Web, and Atomic Playboys; he has toured throughout the United States and has opened for many major acts.
